The good people over at www.luas.ie have printed a helpful map of Dublin’s integrated transport service. I think it speaks for itself!

The also have a page titled “Connections” which includes the line “The Green and Red Lines are not connected”.

Question: How do I get from the Green Line to the Red Line?
Answer: There is NO [Ed] public transport linking the two. The most direct route is down Grafton Street, across College Green and up O ‘Connell Street to Abbey Street. It is a 15 minute walk.
You really have to wonder how this situation ever occurred, of all the places i have been Dublin is the only where the public transport systems just do not connect. Is it that difficult to plan coordinated and connected systems, Answer: No, unless you operate each entity separately and do not communicate to all the other actors, oh and not care about the commuters. Buy a bike!
